According to recent reports, the veteran singer experienced a cardiac arrest on April 11 and was rushed to the hospital in Mumbai, where she is currently undergoing treatment in the emergency medical unit. Sources suggest that her condition is critical, though an official statement from her family or the hospital is still awaited. The veteran singer is under the care of Dr Pratit Samdani.
