Rapper Badshah appeared before the National Commission for Women (NCW) in Delhi in connection with the ongoing controversy surrounding his song Tateeree. The singer was reportedly questioned for over an hour as the panel examined complaints about the song’s lyrics and visuals.
The controversy erupted soon after the release of Tateeree, with several groups alleging that the track contained objectionable and disrespectful content towards women. The issue quickly escalated, prompting intervention from authorities and women’s rights bodies. National Commission for Women took cognisance of the matter and issued summons to the rapper.
