In an interview, RM shared that the label initially wanted to tone down the song by removing or altering its more explicit lines. However, he strongly disagreed with the suggestion and advocated for keeping the track authentic. Recalling the moment, RM said he told the label, “Please don’t change! Why not? He’s all grown up.”
