The event was a much-awaited moment for fans, as Nayanthara, who rarely attends events, was supposed to join. The director joked that he “can’t afford” to invite her on stage. Given how rarely the actor attends film events, he got emotional when she surprised him.

While addressing the audience, Vignesh revealed that Nayanthara was present backstage, supporting him quietly. He then added a witty remark that caught everyone’s attention. “As a wife and producer… I can’t afford to invite actress Nayanthara to an audio launch.”
