India rejects China’s renaming bid, reaffirms Arunachal Pradesh as integral part

India on Sunday firmly rejected China’s attempt to assign new names to locations within its territory, calling the move “mischievous” and reiterating that Arunachal Pradesh remains an integral and inalienable part of the country, reported news agency IANS.
Responding to media queries, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that such actions by China are based on false claims and do not change the ground reality. He emphasised that India categorically rejects any attempt to manufacture narratives regarding its sovereign territory, reported IANS.
