IN PHOTOS: Death toll in Yamuna Expressway crash at Mathura rises to 13

Chandra Prakash Singh, the Mathura District Magistrate, said on Tuesday that the death toll in the multi-vehicle collision on the Yamuna Expressway has risen to 13. The accident occurred earlier in the day near Milestone 127 under the Baldev Police Station limits. Following a collision involving 11 vehicles, a massive fire engulfed 10 of them. At least 14 fire tenders were deployed to control the blaze, which took several hours. Traffic on the Agra–Noida Expressway was restored after a four-hour-long rescue operation (PICS/ PTI)
