INS Trikand visits Dar es Salaam to strengthen maritime cooperation

India's warship INS Trikand, a frontline guided missile frigate of the Indian Navy, arrived at Dar es Salaam on April 3, 2026, an official statement said.
The visit is part of its ongoing deployment in the South West Indian Ocean Region and aims to strengthen maritime cooperation between India and Tanzania, it said.
