Iran's Arab ally has warned of a potential "martyrdom operations', signaling a return to tactics associated with the 1980s, as hostilities with Israeli forces intensify across southern Lebanon. The warning comes amid sustained Israeli airstrikes and ground operations, including reported strikes in the Bekaa Valley. The Israel Defense Forces state that more than 1,000 Hezbollah-linked sites have been destroyed in recent operations, targeting what they describe as booby-trapped structures and weapons storage facilities.
