ICC announce record prize fund for Women's T20 World Cup

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday announced a record prize pool of Rs 82 crore for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup. The tournament will be held in England and Wales in two months. Compared to the previous event, the total purse has grown by 10%.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday announced a record prize pool of Rs 82 crore for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup. The tournament will be held in England and Wales in two months. Compared to the previous event, the total purse has grown by 10%.
Twelve teams will compete in the event, up from ten in 2024. Matches will take place in seven locations from June 12 to July 5, with Lord's Cricket Ground hosting the championship match.
