Actor <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/cricket/article/t20-world-cup-2024-kartik-aaryan-becomes-the-face-of-disney-hotstar-campaign-23349509" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Kartik Aaryan</a>, who will soon appear in the sports drama Chandu Champion, recently spoke about the toughest period in his life. He remembered when his mother, Mala Tiwari, was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo chemotherapy.
This happened while he was filming <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/sonu-ki-titu-ki-sweety-actor-kartik-aaryan-launches-health-magazine-cover-19169166" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety</a> in 2018, and Kartik describes it as the "worst time" of his life.

In an interview with Raj Shamani on his YouTube channel, Kartik said, &ldquo;My low phase was during my mother&rsquo;s cancer. I am saying this because this was the lowest point in my life, and this was happening during the shoot of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. When that was going on, I couldn&rsquo;t understand how to go for the shoot, how to continue working, but I think there was this mentality of never giving up. You go for chemotherapy and you continue your work too. I think that was the worst time of my life.&rdquo;
The <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/celebrity-life/diet/article/kartik-aaryan-enjoys-gujrati-thali-as-he-promotes-biographical-drama-chandu-champion-23353739" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Bhool Bhulaiyaa</a> actor mentioned that his mother is now "fit" and he's relieved that they've moved past that difficult time. &ldquo;But when this was going on, if I didn&rsquo;t have the never give up attitude, then perhaps I would have given up,&rdquo; he said.&nbsp;
Kartik said that during this tough time, he felt like giving up, but his mother encouraged him to keep shooting, &ldquo;I was ready to give up everything at one point. I felt like I couldn&rsquo;t work at that point. My mom told me&hellip; she asked me to work,&rdquo; he said.

Actor Kartik Aaryan surprised fans with stunning before and after transformation pictures as he gears up for his upcoming biopic film, 'Chandu Champion'. Directed by Kabir Khan, Kartik has undergone immense physical training to look the part in the biographical drama. The 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' actor on Friday took to his Instagram to share his transformation pictures alongside a long caption.
"From 39 &#37 body fat to 7 &#37 body fat !! From being an 'insomniac' to turning into a 'fitness enthusiast', it's surely a journey of one and half years to remember for me. The life of the living legend Murlikant Petkar, not only made me a stronger human being but also, further installed the belief that if you can dream it, then you can achieve it... nothing is impossible. Pehle mummy kehti thi, 'beta gym jao' lekin aaj kal haalaat aise hain ki unhe call karke bolna padta hai, 'beta gym se vapas aa jao," read the caption of his post.
