Akshay Kumar and Nikkhil Advani are all set to reunite for another film. The duo has already worked on films like Chandni Chowk To China, Patiala House, and Airlift. Pinkvilla has reported the filmmaker and the actor are collaborating for a period drama set in the '80s. It seems it's raining period films in Bollywood currently.

Taking about the film, a source spoke, "Nikkhil has been planning this film for some time. It's a suave action spy thriller where Akshay plays one of the special agents. The film is completely set in the 80s and will be a period action espionage film." It will be co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani.
