Almost 19 years after we saw three blind men rob a bank successfully in Aankhen (2002), its sequel is set to go on floors. Amitabh Bachchan, who played mastermind Vijay Singh Rajput in the original heist thriller, has been the only constant as the sequel underwent several changes in terms of the director, casting and production house over the last few years. Now, the megastar, joined by Sidharth Malhotra, Akshaye Khanna and Sunil Grover, will take Rajput’s story forward under the supervision of Delhi Belly director Abhinay Deo. mid-day has it that the filmmaker intends to kick off the first schedule in May.
