Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu has had its share of production woes. Now, Shree Narayan Singh's directorial venture is facing release date issues. It was earlier scheduled to hit the marquee on August 31. Last week, it was announced that the film has been postponed to September 14.

Now it has been pushed to a new date yet again. The makers of the social drama have selected September 21 as an apt date. This change is due to Kajol-starrer Helicopter Eela releasing on September 14. They were keen on a solo release and do not want anyone within flying distance.
