Toronto: 'Angry Indian Goddesses' by Indian filmmaker Pan Nalin, who has explored "firebrand women" in the Bollywood film, has been placed second in the Grolsch People's Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

The all-out female buddy film boasts of a line-up that includes Sandhya Mridul, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Sarah-Jane Dias, Anushka Manchanda, Amrit Maghera, Rajshri Deshpande and Pavleen Gujral.
