With John Abraham's Satyameva Jayate enjoying a notable box-office run, a call for celebration is only warranted. However, owing to the unforeseen circumstances in Kerala, the actor has decided against celebrating at a time when citizens are suffering.

"I am overwhelmed by the adulation the film is receiving from the public. But, I am devastated by the unprecedented situation in Kerala. I have family there. They are safe, but many are still suffering. So, there's no celebration. I continue to shoot for my next in Gulmarg."
