Acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has finally announced his next project. Known for his soulful films about love and aspirations, the director is back with a movie that once again explores the enduring power of love. Titled Main Vaapas Aaunga, the film stars Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina and Sharvari. The makers dropped the first-look posters and teaser of the film today. The project reunites several of Imtiaz Ali’s frequent collaborators and is set to arrive in theatres on June 12.

The film promises a poignant story of love and longing and also reunites the powerful musical trio of Imtiaz Ali, A. R. Rahman and Irshad Kamil. The posters shared on social media hint at an old-school romance. One image features Sharvari riding a bicycle through fields while Vedang Raina runs behind her, dressed as a Sikh man. Another poster shows Diljit Dosanjh standing calmly in the middle of a field.
