Singer-filmmaker Palaash Muchhal had earlier filed a legal lawsuit against actor-producer Vidnyan Mane for defaming him. The latter had accused the singer of cheating him financially. He also made strong statements about Palaash Muchhal's cancelled wedding with cricketer Smriti Mandhana. Now, Palaash has received interim relief in the ongoing lawsuit from the Bombay High Court.
As per the latest development in the case, the Bombay High Court has issued an order against Vidnyan Mane in the Rs 10 crore defamation case. Palash's lawyer, Shreyansh R Mithar,e confirmed the news to Hindustan Times. Meanwhile, the court has also reportedly restrained Vidnyan from making any further statements regarding Palaash since it can harm his reputation. Palaash's lawyer says this is a positive step in their case, adding that the next hearing in the matter is scheduled for March 11.
