For quite some time now, rumours have been rife that actor Paresh Rawal has been onboarded for Drishyam 3 alongside Ajay Devgn. While the film is yet to go on floors as the Hindi makers allegedly await permission from the film's original Malayalam version makers, including director Jeethu Joseph and the producers, the casting for new characters is in full swing. It was reported that Paresh would play a central character. However, now the veteran actor has confirmed that he declined the film.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Paresh Rawal admitted that he had been offered Drishyam 3. However, he shared that he hasn’t signed Drishyam 3 because the character offered did not appeal to him. “No, I have not. There’s no truth to these reports at all. Yes, the makers did approach me. But I didn’t feel that the role was suitable for me. Maza nahin aaya (on reading about my part)."
