After A Suitable Boy, Vivek Gomber and Shahana Goswami play a couple again in Bombay Begums. The duo has an undeniable chemistry, and it will be on display in Alankrita Shrivastava’s upcoming Netflix series, which drops on March 8. Gomber and Goswami met for the first time during the shooting of A Suitable Boy. “We 
got along instantly as we work similarly,” says Goswami. “Any scene with her is great because it’s fun working with Shahana. You are in a room with a co-actor, who you can trust, and who trusts you as well,” adds Gomber. This mutual admiration society will work wonders for the actors.

The web series features Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Amruta Subhash, Plabita Borthakur and Rahul Bose. Though it is set in Mumbai, the director hopes it resonates with all women. Bhatt makes her digital debut with the series.
