Imagine visiting Harvard University to participate in the 26th edition of the Women in Power Conference (WIPC). That’s the kind of thing Sanjana Sanghi’s younger studious self would be proud of. Naturally, it’s a moment of pride for the actor, who is set to headline an Arts and Advocacy panel as well as lead a ‘Lunch and Learn’ session at the Harvard Kennedy School, a part of the university, on April 18.

At the event, Sanghi — who featured in Rockstar (2011), Dil Bechara (2020), and Kadak Singh (2023) — will highlight how culture and creativity can play a role in education equity and youth empowerment. Her work as a UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) India Youth Champion, and her journey that bridges films and youth leadership have been cited as the reason she was chosen for the edition. Excited about being the only Indian actor at this year’s conference, Sanghi told mid-day, “Harvard University, in my mind, has been the pinnacle of greatness, one I’ve always revered.”
