Mexican actor Dario Yazbek Bernal, known widely for his role in Netflix’s The House of Flowers, recently wrapped up the shoot of White in India. With Vikrant Massey stepping into the role of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Montoo Bassi’s directorial venture will chronicle the spiritual leader’s involvement in Colombia’s peace process.

“At its core, the film is driven by a sincere emotion. It simply says: this is what happened, and this is how forgiveness becomes possible,” explains the actor over a phone call. He believes that in a world marked by polarisation, White arrives at a crucial moment. “The film is saying something that we’ve forgotten how to do: listen.”
