In an attempt to seek refuge from their almost rabid popularity, the legendary rock band, The Beatles, came down to Rishikesh five decades ago. Huddled comfortably in one of their songs, Across the Universe, are the lines Jai Gurudeva Om, which demonstrate the ties the song had with Indian culture. Cut to now, and we see Mumbai going berserk over news of British rock band, Coldplay, hitting Indian shores to shoot for a video.
Six-time Grammy award winner and EDM sensation, Skrillex, who is set to perform in Mumbai on October 10 as part of Supersonic Arcade, reached Goa four days prior to his concert, sparking rumours of collaboration with an Indian artiste. Quiz him on who he would like to work with and he says, "Definitely, Yo Yo Honey Singh. He's blowing up on the dubstep scene right now and his stuff is pretty cool."
