Malayalam actor and production controller Kannan Pattambi died on Sunday night at the age of 62. The veteran passed away at around 11:40 pm on January 4, 2026. He was reportedly undergoing treatment for a kidney-related ailment at a private hospital in Kozhikode before he succumbed. Kannan Pattambi dies, brother Major Ravi confirms his death

Major Ravi took to social media to confirm the sad news of his younger brother`s demise. Taking to Facebook, he shared a photo of Kannan. In the caption, he confirmed his death and he wrote, “My dear brother, Kannan Pattambi, who was a film production controller, passed away at 11:41 PM last night. The funeral will be held at Pattambi`s home in Njangattiri today at 4 PM. My younger brother, Kannan Pattambi, has left for his heavenly abode. Om Shanti.”
