Sankranti 2023 is going to be special for cinema lovers as Prabhas` `Adipurush` and Thalapathy Vijay`s `Varisu` will be releasing on the auspicious occasion. On Diwali, the makers of `Varisu` announced that the film is scheduled to release on the occasion of Makar Sankranti next year

Titled "Vaarasudu" in Telugu, the upcoming movie is directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Dil Raju and Shirish have produced the film under their production house Sri Venkateswara Creations

Following the release date announcement, the makers dropped working stills from the sets of the film giving a glimpse into the world of Varisu

Looking at the pictures, fans have been trying to guess the character and plot of the film directed by Vamshi Paidipally

Khushbu Sundar will also play a prominent part in the film apart from Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha and Samyuktha

Well-known music label and film studio, T-Series, has acquired the music rights of director Vamshi Paidipally`s much-awaited bilingual, `Varisu, featuring actor Vijay in the lead

Talking about the music acquisition, T-Series Managing Director and Chairman Bhushan Kumar said: "It`s been a wholesome experience working with Dil Raju.
