Kunal Kapoor is eagerly awaiting the release of his highly-anticipated magnum opus, ‘The Empire’, to be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from August 27. The actor is being hugely appreciated for his stupendous performance as Mughal emperor Zahir ud-Din Muhammad Babur ever since the magnificent trailer has been launched. 

For Kunal, the historical drama is quite special, as it has given him the opportunity to do action, a genre that he always wanted to attempt as an actor. Sharing his experience of shooting the visual extravaganza during a live interaction with superstar Hrithik Roshan on the social media, Kunal had mentioned, “Over the years, a lot of people used to tell me that I should do action on screen but actually nobody offered me an action role. Fortunately, I got the opportunity to do action in ‘The Empire’ and it was really an incredible experience.”
