Versatile singer KK is in the city to perform at The Nest concert 2013, whose proceeds will benefit the orphans and the elderly. It&rsquo;s sad to see that there are so many problems faced by our senior citizens as they get neglected in the later stage of their lives even after dedicating their lives for others. Orphans have their own challenges. As an artiste I can do my bit through my voice. In this concert, I will perform according to the preferences of the crowd. I will sing some mellow numbers as well which is little unconventional for a concert. On reality music shows Television is a major medium today. Hence, most of the things on it are commercialised. The musical reality shows definitely offer a platform for young artistes but it has a shelf life of about 3-6 months. How an artist works on himself/ herself after the show and acquiring fame and recognition is more important. u00a0Reality shows are good for giving an initial boost to artistes; especially those who come from smaller towns. When it comes to judging such shows, I don&rsquo;t know what&rsquo;s slated for the future but one thing I know is that I cannot brag and create an aura while being on a show. I can either say good or bad things. Also, creative satisfaction is very important for me. Hence, I have not done anything just for seeking attention. I have to fulfill the expectations of my fans; therefore my music takes priority here. Changing music trends Nobody buys albums these days. Gone are the days when a single album with eight to 10 songs used to be a big hit. The Internet and television have transformed the industry completely. With hardly any buyers around, I doubt if I will come up with a full-fledged album.
