50 per cent of Indian cricket fans want to extend their trip to explore the city

According to the survey, 47 per cent of Indians plan to travel for live matches and even explore the cities beyond the sport

While the ongoing IPL 2025 is already managing to attract crowd for matches in stadiums across the country, the cricket-loving fans are going beyond the stadium visits to make a trip out of it and enjoy their time there. 

After all, why watch cricket matches from your sofa when you can feel the roar of the crowd live? With the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, two Indian cricket legends having stepped back from Test matches, fans are making the most of every chance to see them in action right now. 

According to digital travel company Skyscanner’s latest 'Pitch Perfect Journeys' report, 47 per cent of Indians are ready to swap their living room view for a seat in the stadium – at home or abroad.
