Naigaon Police nab two, seize illegal country-made pistol and live cartridges

The Naigaon Police`s Crime Branch Unit-2 in Vasai on Wednesday said that it has arrested two persons and seized a country-made pistol, live cartridges, and a sword during a late-night search operation on Tuesday night.
Assistant Police Inspector Sopan Patil received information that an individual would arrive in the Poman area of Naigaon carrying an illegal firearm. Acting on this tip-off, police laid a trap and arrested Deepak Adhyaprasad Singh (33), a resident of Sastikar Pada, Poman, Naigaon.
