The Kandivli police have registered a case against an unknown person for engaging a person in talk to get his credit card details, and stealing Rs 1.62 lakh from two of his cards.
According to the complainant, Udaykumar Singh’s statement, 52, he has two credit cards from different banks and used one of them for shopping. On March 4 Singh said he received his credit card bill with Rs 14,000 excess charge. He immediately called up his bank’s customer care service and informed them about the error.
