26-year-old South actress and model Kavya Thapar was arrested by the Juhu police for allegedly abusing and engaging in a fight with a woman constable in an inebriated state in the wee hours of Thursday (February 17).

Kavya, who was presented before the court on February 17, was remanded in judicial custody. The constable who was a part of the Nirbhaya squad of Juhu police said in her statement that they received a call from the control room asking them to reach the spot opposite JW Marriott Hotel in Juhu where a woman crashed into a car and was drunk.
