The Maharashtra government on Monday approved the utilisation of 255.9 acres of salt pan land in Mumbai to develop houses for residents of slum rehabilitation projects. The responsibility of developing the houses has been handed over to Adani Group, reported news agency PTI.
The salt pan land utilisation also includes the beneficiaries of affordable housing and other similar schemes.
