<p>The Bombay High Court, on Monday, refused to pass an injunction order to restrain Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik from tweeting against Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai Zonal Head Sameer Wankhede, reported Live Law.</p>
<p>"At the prima face stage, it cannot be said allegations are totally false", the Court said in its order.</p>
<p>However, the High Court added that the minister&rsquo;s tweets are &ldquo;actuated by malice&rdquo; and he should make statements about Wankhede or his family only after reasonable verification.</p>
<p>The court was hearing the defamation case filed by Dhyandev Wankhede, father of Sameer Wankhede against Nawab Malik who has been relentlessly posting a series of tweets against the NCB sleuth in relation to alleged fabrication of caste certificate, religion status and misconduct in service.</p>
