Maharashtra records 7 cases of Covid-19; no deaths

Maharashtra is witnessing a steady decline in Covid-19 cases after a surge in May–June. As of July 11, only 47 active cases remain, all with mild symptoms. With over 35,000 tests conducted since January, the state has a 96.6 per cent recovery rate. Authorities urge continued caution despite the improving situation.

Despite the sudden surge in Covid-19 cases during May and June, Maharashtra is now observing a gradual decrease in active cases. Along with observing a steady decline in cases, the recovery rate in the state has also been increasing, which signifies the improving Covid-19 situation in the state. As per the data released by the Public Health Department on 11 July 2025, Maharashtra recorded seven new cases of Covid-19. The state Public Health Department also notified that all the patients who have tested positive are showing mild symptoms and do not require any intensive care. 

According to Maharashtra’s Public Health Department, a total of 35,516 Covid tests have been conducted across the state since January 2025. Out of the 35,516 tests conducted, only 2,620 individuals have tested positive, with 2,532 patients having fully recovered.

This brings Maharashtra’s recovery rate to a remarkable 96.64%, indicating the success of ongoing healthcare efforts. Also, the data signifies that the situation across the state is not at all alarming.
