Following the escalating tensions on the border areas, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has decided to cancel the leaves of senior officials from the health, disaster management and other important departments.

On Friday, Fadnavis took stock of the security preparedness in the state. After the meeting, he directed that the leaves of all senior officials of key departments be cancelled.
