The Congress has named Ramesh Keer as its candidate for the Konkan Graduates constituency in Maharashtra's legislative council elections, which are slated for June 26.
The biennial Maharashtra Legislative Council elections are for four state seats: Mumbai Graduates, Konkan Graduates, Mumbai Teachers, and Nashik Teachers, as the present members' terms end in July. Keer will represent the Congress in the Konkan Graduates constituency, according to a party announcement.
