Marathi, state song to be compulsory in all schools in Maharashtra: Bhuse

Maharashtra School Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse has announced that all schools in the state, including those under ICSE, CBSE, Cambridge, and other education boards, must compulsorily teach the Marathi language and also include the singing of state song during school activities, an official statement said on Thursday.

Bhuse held a joint meeting held at the Mantralaya with coordinators, principals, and officials from all education boards in the state and told them about the decision.
