Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday said the state is progressing swiftly towards achieving a USD 1 trillion economy, aligning with India's broader target of becoming a USD 5 trillion economy, and sought support from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in realizing the goal, reported news agency PTI.
Speaking at a meeting with Ajay Kumar Pandey, Vice President of Investment Solutions at AIIB in Mumbai, Fadnavis said that Maharashtra is working on a comprehensive roadmap to become a developed state by 2047.
