Maharashtra: Ro-Ro ferry breaks down, passengers stranded

The Saphale-Virar Ro-Ro ferry service faced a sudden halt near the Mharambalpada jetty in Maharashtra on Sunday after a hydraulic pipe controlling the ferry’s ramp broke down, leaving passengers stranded for more than 30 minutes, sources said.

The incident caused panic and anxiety among passengers, many of whom were unsure about how long the delay would last, they said.
