The Mumbai Regional Meteorological Centre on Sunday issued an orange alert for Raigad and the ghats of Pune and Satara, indicating the possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in these areas.
A yellow alert has been issued for several districts, including Mumbai city and its suburbs, Thane, Palghar, Nashik ghat, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Kolhapur ghat, Buldhana, Akola, Washim, Yavatmal, Nagpur, Gondia, Wardha, Chandrapur and Gadchiroli, suggesting residents remain cautious.
Meanwhile, no districts are under a red alert, and the remaining districts fall under the green alert category, indicating normal weather conditions.
