Mumbai: 26-year-old Vikhroli man killed as old tree falls on his head

Mumbai: The victim was reportedly standing on the road in Vikhroli area, observing the weather during Mumbai's first monsoon shower. With the strong winds blowing over the city, the tree was unable to retain its position and crashed on Tejas' head. Howevrer, the deceased was declared dead by Godrej Hospital

In a tragic occurrence in Mumbai's Vikhroli district, a 26-year-old man was killed when a tree fell on him while he was standing with his friends at Ganesh Maidan. This sad tragedy in Vikhroli has undoubtedly made people more careful and sensitive to the threatening weather. According to reports, the tree that fell on the victim's head was old and had weakend roots. The tree could not retain its position and fell on the deceased man's head due to the heavy rains and thunderstorms that had been occurring since Monday morning. 

The 26-year-old man who died has been identified as Tejas Naidu from Vikhroli. Tejas was reportedly standing on the road, observing the weather during Mumbai's first monsoon shower. With the strong winds blowing over the city, the tree was unable to retain its position and crashed on Tejas' head.
