Upset over removal of Lord Vishwakarma statue, 38-year-old attempts suicide

A 38-year-old man, reportedly upset over the removal of a statue of Lord Vishwakarma in his hometown in Maharashtra, has been booked after attempting suicide in south Mumbai on Wednesday, PTI reported, quoting police.

The incident occurred at Usha Mehta Chowk in the Nariman Point area.
