Mumbai Central station to get India’s first railway-run co-working space

Western Railway has awarded a contract for a co-working space — the first ever to be launched by the Indian Railways — at Mumbai Central station. While there are co-working spaces at railway stations in Navi Mumbai, those are situated in buildings belonging to local development bodies like CIDCO

The Western Railway has awarded a contract for a co-working space — the first ever to be launched by the Indian Railways — at Mumbai Central station. 

While there are co-working spaces at railway stations in Navi Mumbai, those are situated in buildings belonging to local development bodies like CIDCO. This is the first time that railways are allowing their own space to be used for such a purpose.
