The Mumbai Crime Branch’s Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) has uncovered another layer of deceit in the fake BARC scientist case. Accused Akhtar Qutubuddin Husaini Ahmed, alias Alexander Palmer, allegedly made multiple international calls that are now being traced by investigators.
The probe also revealed that Jharkhand-based accused Munazzil Khan forged two fake passports for Ahmed’s brother, using the address of their ancestral home in Jamshedpur’s Azad Nagar, a property sold nearly 30 years ago.
