Following the partial collapse of a slab from Metro Line 4, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Saturday said a detailed probe has been initiated to ascertain the exact cause of the incident and fix responsibility.
Ashwin Mudgal, an MMRDA official, said, “One side of the parapet wall collapsed. How and why this happened will be investigated. We are saddened by the deaths, and MMRDA will ensure the treatment of those injured and will also take care of any relocation.”
