Mumbai airport is now monsoon ready: CSMIA

The Mumbai airport had last month announced that the operations at runway will halt for six hours on May 8 for pre-monsoon maintenance works at the runway

During the six-hour operation from 11 am to 5 pm, both Mumbai airport runways-- RWY 14/32 and RWY 09/27 were thoroughly inspected and restored to optimal condition, an official statement said. Pic/CSMIA
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) on Thursday said that the Mumbai airport is now monsoon ready after it successfully completed its annual runway maintenance works.
Ahead of the Mumbai rains, the Mumbai airport had last month announced that the operations at runway will halt for six hours on May 8 for pre-monsoon maintenance.
