A 20-year-old college student was seriously injured after he was allegedly assaulted by his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend, who called him to settle a dispute they had a few hours earlier on October 8. According to the FIR registered with the Santacruz police, the victim had gone to a pub in Juhu where an argument erupted after champagne was sprayed on him and his friend by his ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend.

The situation turned violent before the bouncers intervened and separated both groups. A few hours later, the victim was allegedly called again to DN Nagar in Andheri by the ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend for a “compromise meeting”. However, he was reportedly assaulted with blunt objects and also given electric shocks with a device.
