Several trains were cancelled, partial cancelled and short terminated after a <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/trains-on-mumbai-surat-section-affected-after-goods-train-derails-in-palghar-23351579" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">goods train derailment on the Mumbai-Surat section in Palghar</a>, the officials said.
According to the Western Railway, the UP line of Mumbai - Surat section has been affected due to derailment of 6 wagons and one VBG of a goods trains at point no 117/118 at Palghar yard at around 17.08 hours on Tuesday.
The Western Railway shared the details of the trains affected due to the derailment.

09159 Bandra Terminus &ndash; Vapi Passenger of 29/05 will be &nbsp;partially cancelled between Bandra Terminus &ndash; Umbergam Road stations and will run between Umbergam Road and Vapi stations.
09055 Bandra Terminus &ndash; Udhna Special of 29/05 &nbsp;will be partially cancelled between &nbsp;Bandra Terminus and Bhilad and will run between Bhilad and Udhna stations.
12935 Bandra Terminus &ndash; Surat Intercity Exp of 29/05 will be partially cancelled between Bandra Terminus &ndash; Vapi stations and will run between Vapi and Surat stations.

Diversion of trains
16505 Gandhidham - SBC Exp, 12432 Nizamuddin - Trivendram Rajdhani Exp &amp; 19260 Bhavnagar - Kochuveli Exp has been diverted via Suarat - Udhna - Jalgaon - Kalyan.
An official statement from the Western Railway said that 20902 Gandhinagar Capital - Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Exp started (on single line working) between Boisar -Palghar - Kelve Road Stations. &nbsp;Boisar dep 20.58 hrs.
