Mumbai: Top floors collapse at Malwani building in early hours, two injured

Teams from the Mumbai Fire Brigade and local police reached the site promptly and began clearing the debris and securing the area.
A major tragedy was narrowly avoided in the early hours of Tuesday when the top two floors of a ground-plus-two structure collapsed in Malwani’s Old Collector Compound in Malad, Mumbai.
The incident occurred between 3 and 4 a.m. at Plot No. 2, Gate No. 5, according to police sources.
