'Mumbai Urban Transport Project allocated Rs 1,777 crore in Union Budget'

Budget grants worth Rs 1,777 crore have been earmarked in the Union Budget for 2025-26 for the ambitious Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP), the Mumbai Rail Vikas Corporation (MRVC) announced on Saturday, according to PTI.

In a statement, the MRVC said that this amount marks a 125 per cent surge from the Rs 789 crore allocated in the previous financial year.
