The Shiv Sena (UBT) launched a blistering attack on Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday, accusing him of insulting the common people of Maharashtra and conspiring to diminish Mumbai's regional identity, reported news agency IANS.

It criticised the Chief Minister's statements regarding employment and local culture during the campaign for the 29 Municipal Corporation elections, including the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
